ABGT adopts a prudent, proportionate and progressive approach to cybersecurity, adapted to the nature and context of the commercialisation of equipment and products in the healthcare sector, recognising the importance of implementing appropriate information protection practices, in line with the principles that guide its activity.
We implement good practices that promote the protection of information and the secure use of systems, taking as reference the General Data Protection Regulation, the guidelines of the National Cybersecurity Centre and the new Decree-Law 125/2025 currently in force.
Within the scope of governance and our ISO 13485 quality system, we consider cybersecurity to be a relevant element in risk management, operational reliability and information protection.
We also promote responsible communication on this topic, ensuring that information sharing is carried out in an appropriate, prudent and consistent manner with the protection of data and systems.

In this context, any employee, partner or third party may report situations that may constitute irregularities, namely:
practices of corruption, bribery or undue influence;
conflicts of interest;
non-compliance with legal or internal rules;
breaches of the Code of Ethics and Conduct;
misuse of resources or information.

ABGT ensures that all reports are handled confidentially and that retaliation against anyone who reports situations in good faith will not be tolerated.
Reported situations are analysed in an appropriate and proportionate manner and may lead to the adoption of corrective or improvement measures.
This mechanism forms part of ABGT’s approach to ethics, corruption prevention and its sustainability strategy (ESG).
