IMSure QA Software

Used for independent and accurate verification of monitor units (MU), dose, and overall validation

of 3D-CRT and IMRT/VMAT plans—no films, phantoms, or accelerator time required.

 

  • Unprecedented accuracy through the patented “3-Source Model” algorithm – Includes, in the dose calculation, the contribution of scatter caused by the flattening filter and the primary collimator.
  • Easy and intuitive verification of MU and comparative QC of IMRT plans.
  • Module for verification of Cyberknife plans.
  • The Brachytherapy plan verification module allows independent validation of HDR (High Dose Rate) and LDR (Low Dose Rate) plans by analyzing the contributions and positions of each source. Non-IMRT plans for photons and electrons are easily verified, displaying the results on a single screen.

 

  1. Supports open fields, blocks, stereotactic cones, and wedged fields including Varian Enhanced Dynamic Wedge and Elekta Omni Wedge.
  2. Support for In-vivo measurements – Automatically calculates a given reading for a diode placed on the surface relative to the isocenter or other valid calculation point.
  3. Multiple calculation points – Allows evaluation of an unlimited number of points of interest.
  4. Decimal Compensator Support – Uses a convolution algorithm to model scatter, beam hardening effects, and field size dependencies to calculate a realistic compensator factor even for the most complex sub-decimal filters.
