Ultrasound
ABGT markets high-durability phantoms for quality control in ultrasound, designed for daily assessments and required testing. Manufactured with stable materials, these models ensure excellent homogeneity and precision in the calibration of probes and imaging systems. They allow analysis of parameters such as contrast, axial and angular resolution, and dead zone, ensuring reliability of results and compliance with the most demanding technical requirements.
Ultrasound Quality Assurance Phantom
Ultrasound QA phantoms are typically designed for the evaluation and calibration of ultrasound probes and other devices. In addition to ensuring these assessments, the KYOTO KAGAKU phantom material is stable, long-lasting, and shows excellent homogeneous reflection of the granular background.
Features:
Useful for both daily quality control and for performing additional tests (research). The phantom is designed to allow image acquisition from all four lateral faces and enables evaluation of: contrast (via grayscale), cystic targets with non-resonant cylinders; line targets for geometric assessment; short-range resolution (dead zone); and axial and lateral resolution.
Material:
Urethane elastomer, acrylic, and nylon.
Acoustic properties:
- Sound speed: 1432 m/s at 25°C
- Attenuation rate: 0.59 dB/cm·MHz at 25°C
- Acoustic impedance: 1.38 Rayl at 25°C
